Nani Marquina founded her company in 1989 in Spain, wishing to innovate and surprise through the quality and modernity of her design. In order to broaden her creative scope, she surrounded herself with renowned contemporary designers, such as the Bouroullec brothers, Nipa Doshi, Jaime Hayon, Begum Cana Őzgur and others. These collaborations led to signature collections where geometrical audacity, poetic fantasy and colour resulted in rugs that can be considered as functional artworks.

Today, the brand besides being recognized globally for its excellent craftsmanship and vibrant use of form and colour, is also known for its deep commitment to environmental and social sustainability. Nanimarquina is Climate Neutral Certified since 2022 and has a long-standing alliance with the CARE & FAIR initiative.
